Ported LT2 intake install on a 2020 Camaro SS
Hey guys, sharing an install I did the other night on a Black 2020 Camaro SS A10. I've done multiple LS3 intake manifold installs on the 5th Gens. The 6th Gens are so much user friendly!
Direct port injection advantage, no need to disconnect the fuel lines or injectors. The install was straight forward. Had to add a 3/8" hose to the vacuum line that goes from the front driver side top of the intake manifold to the valley cover port (would recommend some type of 90 degree hose). Trimmed the foam sound insulator area above the fuel pump and retained the rest of it. All in all, easy install. We test fitted a 95mm TB to my ported manifold. Although it bolts right up and blade opens WOT, I wasn't happy with the lip of the adaptor plate. I open the snout to 92mm to retain the factory oring. Owner has the 90 degree elbow for his CAI but didn't have all of the clamps needed on him so we had to use the factory elbow at the time. He is getting it tuned this weekend.

For those of you who have taken the manifold off how did you handle all the tight zip ties that keep the coil wiring looms from perhaps being frayed by vibration? I guess if a dealer does it do they replace the ties?
JUst a little worry I have, but then my LT1 has only 3k miles.

Looks like you have a E85 sensor there? is that correct? I am looking how you routed the fuel line. So you had no issues with the intake laying flat on the heads with the insulator in the valley with no bolt torque pulling it down? also did you need to cut off or reshape the aligning boss that fits into the pass side cylinder head machined opening? thanks for your post.

The foam insulation has a lot of play to it as far as being compressed. It was mushed down about 1/4" with little effort of screwing in the bolts. And I remove the aligning boss completely on the LT2 intakes.
