Signing the papers for a 2021 LT1 on Saturday and looking at a used rotofab without the sound tub delete. Can that just be plugged on the intake? 2020's and up don't have the sound tube correct? Thanks all!

Not sure about 2020 not having the sound tube, but yeah they can be plugged with an appropriately sized stopper and some silicone/sealant.

My 2021 LT1 does NOT have the sound tube, it has a plug and the associated mounts for it, but no sound tube.

Not true. My 2021 1SS does have a sound tube.

That's interesting, I swear the ones I saw had both the firewall and the air duct plugged up. (Needless to say, you have a Roto-Fab, but I assume the OEM air duct had had the same sound tube before you installed the mod.)

Huh that’s odd. Maybe they took it off in 2020 and put it back on in 2021 lol yes my factory box already had the tube on it

Huh that’s definitely strange. Mines a 1SS A10. Wonder if autos get it and manuals don’t for some reason?

Thanks! It’s a beautiful color in person. I kind of worried I wouldn’t like it when it came in. My wife picked the color and the top and I checked off the rest of the boxes options wise. Npp and mag ride are the best money I have ever spent. I recent had rims and tires put on it for the winter. I left the npp in track as I like to hear it. The 22 yr old tech who serviced it told me it was to loud. Lmfao!

That’s awesome lol i already pulled the fuse on my 21 wild cherry so it stays loud lol

I have no clue why mine has the sound tube and others don’t. May be worth looking into
