If staying N/A and not spinning past 7k, then a ported rod modded factory manifold will be more than adequate. It increases power across the powerband without losing any. As you increase runner length, typically you push the power band to the right. Usually increasing peak power in exchange for losing low end power. With boost it won't as much, but still plays a factor. I had a rod modded manifold and went with a holley sniper and lost almost 30whp, and that was N/A.

Frankenstein makes some of the prettiest, show worthy intakes out there but they are super expensive. The best bang for the buck would be a rod modded factory piece with a nice paint job IMO.

That LOD intake looks pretty sharp too.

Before and after changing to the holley intake.

Couple of other small changes at the same time but I like the look of the holly better. (Jmho)

A lot has changed since these pics too lol (mod sickness)

I was thinking about it but for torque I would need a high rise since I'm primarily a street car with occasional track day. Not sure the investment is worth it since the stock flows so well. I can't do a ported rod mod either because the boost would blow it up. Maybe I'll just get the stock one painted up

More boost solves as many problems as it causes lol

Can’t you just do the rod mod but not ported?

Plus was just watching street outlaws daily driver cars and watching them pop a hood and seeing the lod intake on a monte

The ported rod modded intake has been good to 18psi. Haven’t heard of anybody pushing more yet.

Here is what my "stocker" looked like before the LOD install. Had the "clam shell" cover painted, but I have seen the intake alone painted too.

Yep, they have pics on their FB page of "Doc" there at the shop with them, and he also endorses the LOD intake and advertises for them with their LOD t-shirts. I have seen his whole team with them on. Kinda cool.
