Looking what do you have for $10k ?

I know we all try to sell before trading it in,and many do sell outright ,although just as many end up trading in or selling to a dealer and getting somewhere between 4-10$k less than their asking price..
So I just figured I’d try things a different way and offer what you’d normally either be willing to take as lowest offer or willing to take on a trade in ?..
Sort of like the WHY LIE I NEED A BEER SIGN! LOL...

What made me think about this was recently I SAW A CAR SELL LATELY WITH A ASKING OF 20-22k with a bunch of bolt on’s and recent internal engine work and the owner ended up taking 8k less than his asking price on trade in..which I would of jumped on if it was offered at that price...

Thinking back I recalled I’ve seen plenty on other forums as well that I’d jumped on at what they took as trade in, but like I said everyone isn’t going to advertise hey the dealer offered me this much with their for sale asking price...

Anyway figured this is worth a shot ,as Forest Gumps mom said, your never know what your going to get, lol..
Thks guys pls post pics etc.. or the link to your for sale ad...
Thks ...

Haha if your wanting a ZL1 you won't get one for that kind of money I promise. I really doubt you would get a SS for that unless it had 200k miles on it. Good luck.

Oh I’ve already spent 60k when I bought my ZL1 new !lol...I know what I’m asking but I’ve seen plenty of sweet SS get traded in for 10-15$k with a bunch of bolt on’s ...
I’m not living in a dream world ,just looking for a toy for my youngest kid and myself to teach him to drive...my first kid (now 33yrs) was driving a full size car by 9-10, not on the street ! He and I raced a lot together,.but this one is a little late out of the gate !cares more about games at 17...
It’s not like 10k is my firm price I’m banking on ppl answering hopefully before they trade in, even if it’s 11-15k if it’s a good car and a good deal I’m probably in ,beats a nice car going to the auction where ppl strip it before pushing it over the block..

I've been a punter for 7months now and the only Camaro's I've found at 10k are 10 LS models with over 100k. You can likely get a gen 4 car in that range that's pretty nice. Good luck with the search.

I’m simply going to keep looking around until a deal comes up heck even a nice gen4 would be welcome I’ve always liked those my last one was a 2002 TA I rebuilt stripped it all out painted it a house of colors orange and installed a new crate LSX 454 with a cam and head swap with everything plus the kitchen sink, and my last wife and I mean my last wife ,& I divorced which meant I had to sell it which sucked, but I got a ZL1 convertible a yr or so later ..
Anyway as I’ve said it’s going to be a project for my 17yr old son for his last yr of highschool which I can hopefully use to get him interested in cars instead of just computers all the time..heck I’d probably jump on a gen4 with a built motor in it .like I’ve said $10k but it’s not firm..I’d jump on a red eye for 30k if a wife dumped it to teach one of us a lesson for cheating with the Secretary as the story always goes. lol

What’s wrong with it ? I just purchased my kid a jeep with a bunch of upgrades, but having a second car he can get up and go as a 4.0 jeep is fun but not the best daily driver.:
