Throttle Controllers

Has anyone had any wiring issues after installing their throttle controller. Doesn't matter which brand. I've tried Vitesse and PedelMax. Keeps throwing my Camaro into limp mode lol. I can't figure it out. Check Engine light comes on and points to the throttle wiring etc. I reset it, runs fine for about a couple days then repeats. Thanks in advance.

That's bizarre. Never had the issue with my Soler. Do you have a tune or other mods?

Yes my soler did that because of my routing method I seemed to have cut the wires, look them over really good for any chafing. Buying another soler, I dont like the throttle without it

Why not just do it right and get a tune and forget the throttle controllers?

I like the adjustability on the fly. If I’m feeling sporty I’ll put it in SP.5 (solar)... normally in a lower setting. If the wife is driving it I’ll put it in OE. 🧐😂

Indeed, it would be nice to have a throttle response setting in the infotainment where the suspension, engine sound and steering feel are, but barring that, you can still tune the modes differently and tell wifey to use snow/ice mode

True. I haven’t tuned yet (warranty) but that’s a good point. I could just tune the throttle settings in different modes.

That wasn't a thought when I did it. But I would like to have the options of using certain modes. Speaking of tunes. I also wait till i do some major add on's to tune. So damn expensive to tune lol
