Also the exterior colors of the Hot Wheels don't match any colors on the F1FTY.

Spending that kind of time with the service department really sucks! Hope you get those issues resolved soon. In the meantime, the door ding can be easily fixed most of the time by using a qualified paintless dent removal company, locate one now so when you get your car back you can have it removed. the smell comes from the residue of the coolant which was not properly wiped away and or from the mechanics hands when he touched parts whith he coolant dripping hands which heats up later when in use.
