No but I wish I would have, I'm sure you know you need adjustable rockers.

I just switched to a LLSR, and I am still trying to get the car to run decent on the road. It would be great for a track only car and that LOD intake that you have would probably work really well. Right now I wish I had stayed with my old setup.

Current setup is 416ci with LS7 Heads, 12.7 compression, 102 mm TB, MSD intake (waiting for LOD to get the LS7 version ready) E85. Cam is LLSR 26x/27x about 720 lift, Harland Sharp rockers.

If it were me, I would just get the Jesel ones. Then you can fine tune the lash without any hassle. Most people probably don't run them because of the extra cost but from what I have read, they always make more power and the noise is actually less than a hydraulic lifter.

250/262 duration @ .050’’

112+4

.705’’/.688’’ lift with 1.7 rocker

This is what they speced for me...

Just because you get a LLSR does not mean you have to put in a massive cam. That cam will be tough to tune well for a street car. Arch City also has a massive cam that is around 260@.050.

250/262 duration @ .050’’

112+4

.705’’/.688’’ lift with 1.7 rocker

This will make good power but will be tough to drive I would think.

Ya, I keep forgetting you have a 416 plus you lose a little on duration from the lash. Should be a great cam for that motor.

Its close to this and look at how well it worked on this motor.

Clark,

Go over to LS1 tech and check out Darth_V8r build and search some of his posts. Thunderstuck also did a very nice write up over there using stock rockers cut into pairs and shimming to achieve lash. I done this on my hydraulic set up as well. Darth uses yella terra rockers from tony mamo. That cam will run and drive about like a SS4 in stock cubes so it should be no issue to tune and will carry out to 76-7800.

Thanks, I read up on shimming the rockers... interesting, but I think I'll spend the coin for some adjustables
