Swapped out my ACS Composite ZL1 rock guards for a set of ZL1Addons rock guards. The ACS are def nicer and fit better on the ZL1 but the recent addition of some exterior carbon fiber pieces no longer allowed the ACS Composite rock guards to fit.

Did a video showing the ACS Composite and ZL1Addons Deluxe rock guards side by side and installation of the rock guards

Finally finished up with everything (repaired everything damaged by a semi truck tire re-tread I hit on an offramp plus ZL1 to ZL1 1LE carbon fiber front end swap, carbon fiber side skirt covers, carbon fiber diffuser, Umbra taillights, and a few other things) and was able to drive the car after it sat on my QuickJack for about a month!

I had a rare afternoon off, and it must’ve been luck, but my ACS Composites order arrived shortly after noon. I did a quick detail on the car and put it up on the lift and got the rock guards installed and then moved on to the side skirts. I can’t believe I just drilled about 40 holes in my brand new car, but I’m really happy with the results. I took it for a quick spin afterwards. I have exactly 1200 more miles of break-in.

Looking good! The ACS rock guards and side skirts really pop on your car.

They really look good on your car. I love how they accentuate the lines. I've received some nice comments on mine. I know what you mean about drilling holes in a new car. Sounds crazy but worth it.

It was reminiscent of when I had to drill into the rear deck of my Z06 for a carbon fiber spoiler. Measure 50 times, drill once. That was much more nerve wracking than this job. Both the skirts and guards fit very well. A few spring clamps and careful placement made it a lot easier than I expected.

Added some white letters to my tires using a paint pen while I wait for my spacers. Normally I don’t like white letter tires on the Camaro but I think it looks good with the extra sidewall.

You hand painted that? Man, you did a sweet job... I don't think my hand would be that steady

Thank you! It was pretty time consuming, if I’m being honest. Took about a day and a half to

A.) Actually paint the letters, applying multiple coats

B.) Use toothpicks and Acetone to scrape off excess paint off areas where I went over the letters.

If I had to do it again, I would take the wheels off. Much of the extra time came from the paint pen having a tough time with the vertical surface. Laying them on the floor would make the process way quicker and easier.
