Thats a great 60. I would have killed to have a 60 like that ever hahaha.
I don't remember because it has been so long but I don't think I ever cracked a sun 2.0 sixty in my Mustang even on DRs |

Demons come with dragpack and seats removed unless you order the car for $1 and get the seats lol

I'm hearing that dealerships are charging up to $50K over MSRP for the upcoming GT500. And they want it upfront. LOL! If this is true then that is very disappointing. That means that if MSRP is $70K, then some people will be paying $120K for one. What sucks is that this takes it out of the hands of their base customers. And it puts it in competition with the much more expensive cars. So if this is true then count me out.
I'm wondering how many people will flock to the ZL1 and Hellcat if this happens. I mean, if people are in the market for a mega HP car without having to mod it and break their warranty, then I'd think the ZL1 and Hellcat will start looking more appealing if you can't get a GT500 without a huge mark up. Also that will mean the Ford has not offered a car that can be had in ZL1 price range that can keep up with or beat the ZL1. |

Their dealer network wanted 10k markups on a Focus and morons paid it. They markup Raptors around the same and yet I see them all over. Given all the problems that they are having with both the GT and the 350 they really need this car to be a homerun and the more I hear things like this the more it makes me laugh. You can build one hell of a fast car for 50k extra. Or you can go down the street and get a ZR1. Either option sounds more appealing to me at this point. |

I went to our 1/8 mile test and tune night last night .. Air was killer ( 66 deg and very very dry air ) I was there just to watch , but by chance I parked right next to a guy that had a brand new loaded Mustang GT A10 auto ..He asked if I was going to run my Carmaro and I said no , just watching ..He said he was going to make a few passes , so I asked if he ever ran the car before and he said oh yes .. I asked what he ran and he said 7.80s in the 1/8 mile and I found that believable number . I asked if he had run in the 1/4 mile and said oh yes he had and it ran a 11.49 @ 122 ..I looked at him and said all stock ? He said oh yes 100% stock .. We all know 7.80s in the 1/8 mile will not run 11.49 in the 1/4 mile ..I watched him make 3 passes and his best was 8.01 @ 90 MPH .. The other runs were 8.20s . He claimed he was spinning but I watch each run close up at the starting line and the car was dead hooking.. I didn't say anything to him after that , I just walked away ..
On another note I saw a guy with a yellow demon make about 5 passes , His best was a very nice 6.47 @ 105 ..Clearly not a 9 second 1/4 mile car with those 1/8 mile numbers , more like low 10s .. But I was impressed with his numbers , very strong for a heavy car ..The car sounded great with the super charger spinning like a Buzz Saw ..If I had the money I would own one for sure .. |

At $50K over you can get a car that actually IS worth that price. There are plenty of vehicles out there that are worth what a GT500 with that kind of markup would cost. None of them have a Ford badge BTW. Well maybe the Shelby Super Snake. Quote:

I always keep hearing about these 9 and 10 sec GTs that need "only a few mods" lol! Everytime I hear tho it's coming from someone who doesn't have one of these GTs or the "few mods" to get that fast. I tell people time and time again, if it was that easy, then there would be 9 and 10 sec Mustangs everywhere. LOL!! A year and a half and I still have yet to see one. Maybe the prices will tank enough for me to get one.

I've been seeing a lot of the non-Rs going for around the same price as a 5th Gen ZL1. Like high $30K to low $40K for a 16 GT350. A used R is in the same price range as a used ZL1. And a new R is right at MSRP. I mean, so much for all that talk about how much value they retain. They're losing value just like the ZL1s and Hellcats, lol!! Probably because there are soo many options these days. But in any case, you can get one real cheap now.
