This is a whole lot of no good

Idk its pretty vague. Says they dont even have a goal for buyouts. Plus they are still hiring in other areas. Im for anything that keeps them competitive, good to see them being proactive.

Did you notice there 3rd quarter profit. Nice increase, so they can’t be doing to bad. Maybe just a lot of unnecessary overhead.

Half the sedans will be discontinued in the next 5 to 8 years, and the other half replaced with all electric and hybrids. Most of the SUVs will go hybrid or PEV. The cloud will dominate as the brain for level 4 and 5 automated cars on 5G networks in 10-20 years.

Time for a new design, engineering and operations skillset to match that future.

I'll have to show this to the wife and explain to her that buying a new Camaro is for the greater good!

I'm hoping this isn't the case. 5G is awesome definitely...but it isn't limitless...and definitely cannot handle the overhead of hundreds of thousands among thousands of vehicles interconnected upon its network depending upon it for every vehicular movement function ontop of standard cellular users relying on it.
