Committed the sin of sins
Well it is time to eat my words and this does not come easy. Since the gen 6 Camaro has come out I have been outspoken about not liking the new ones. I have said things like, "they ruined the car, it's too small, no gills on the side, the 5 has better body lines, I'll never buy a new one" and many others.
I made the mistake the other day after getting my oil changed and went on the showroom floor. That's when it happened and I felt something strange inside, "like no way this is a new Camaro". Then like God himself came down and tapped me on the shoulder and said, "ask the salesman for the key to open it". Yea, like opening Pandora's box, right thru the heart, "BOOM! I fell in love! Never thought I would take the plunge on new car again after saying I would keep the Z/28 forever. Just goes to show, even at 70, "never say, never again". Soooooo here is what I did...….,it's a 19'. Let me know what my penance is for this.

ZL1 is the only 6th Gen I'd consider. Awesome car...
Congrats! -Don

Your “penance” is having to enjoy an awesome car and having to start the mods all over again! Not too bad!!

None required. Great choice.

Great Car ! Love the color and blackout.
Hypothetical Question - if the ZL1-1LE was sitting there instead --- with the same color combo, but, with the big wing and other aero instead, would you still have bought it ?

I wanted the A10, not available on the 1LE.

I'd be more keen on the SS 1LE, lighter weight, no forced induction. Would consider cam and headers and be done.
