A10 ZL1 1LE owners - How do you like the A10?
Hello members -
I am in the market for a ZL1 1LE. For those that have the A10, how do you like it? If you had to do it again, would you still get the A10 over the 6MT? |

Happy with mine. But id be happy with the 6 speed too. On track it would be nice to an easier shifting map till the tires warmed up.

Luuuuv iiiit!
I wouldn’t have gone a 6spd at any point, not that there’s anything wrong with it, I’m just done rowing gears for a while. |

Ive got an A10 and track mine regularly.
For tracking its just awesome. Its intuitive and just works right. Im sure youve seen youtube videos praising its abilities. That being said I miss a manual on the street. Mines not a daily driver however when I do use it on the street I do miss the connection you get with a manual car vs the auto. (Prior I had an SRT Challenger 2015 6sp manual and a 13GS Corvette 6spd manual.) It all depends on what you want to do with it I suppose. For me the A10 was the right choice. For reference I had an 18 ZL1 A10. I got the track bug and traded it for a 20 1LE with an A10. Never thought about going back to a manual. Good luck with whatever you decide. |

I'm glad people are liking it.... I didn't want it. But I'm eager to try it. If I wanted a ZL1 here in Thailand, the Holden Specialty Vehicles dealership that my Bangkok dealer deals with only had one RHD left, A10. I'm a manual guy, but I guess I'm going to try it out. Besides part of the compromise to buy this was that she needed an automatic in case she ever has to drive it in case of emergency. So I did the only smart thing, I agreed. And she'll never drive it after I hammer it one time. The loudness, and violent power will scare her to death. She has no idea what WOT is like on a real sportscar. I can't wait, LOL

I could not be more pleased with my A10 but driving it hard is much more manageable and easier on tires when in Manual.

Couldn't be more pleased with it. Throwing it into manual for the first 5 gears is also wicked fun; the ratios are great.

As someone who just traded in a bolt-on SS 1LE for an A10 ZLE today, I’m shocked at how fun my ride home was! I haven’t driven an auto sports car in quite awhile, but it felt great and I don’t think I’ll miss shifting myself.

The only auto trans I could envision that doesn't have me missing a manual.
And fast food without wearing it now is a bonus! |

I can't go to WOT in 1st or 2nd gear in Auto or manual. This car has minimal tire spin and is it's fastest in manual from 3rd gear at 3000 rpm (Max torque is 3000/4000 rpm) at 40 mph. If I hit WOT in auto at 40 mph it just down shifts and spins the tires. Manual puts you in constant control of the car. Auto is for crusin around.
