I dont think they are. With 6 ton jack stands I barely cleared the ground with back end.

But I had 2 in headers so they were just to fat to come in top side had come in from bottom and order to do that have to have at least 22 inches of clearance I'd say. But this is just how I did it. Others may of had better luck. But highly recommend 6 ton jack stands for the extra clearence

No problem. Never thought about the angle method of tilting one side but that's sound even more nerve racking. But either way its doable.

Yea I didn’t like the idea much either.. I ended up puting a couple stacked up concrete pavers under the tires that were in the air, so if the car fell off the stands it would only drop a little bit
