V6 muffler delete, good idea? Bad idea?
Has anyone heard it on the lgx in person? I'm sick of have the stock exhaust none npp. Want to wait to hear the new borla atak coming out but was thinking of just doing the delete for now. Any input would be awesome! Thanks

they have good audio clips of the mrt v3 which is a muffler delete.
I think it would get obnoxious real fast. Consider the much more subdued tone of the mrt v1 and even that will resonate the car real good at medium throttle through a couple gears. (i have the v1) |

I have the MRT v3 It is so ****ing loud.
At 1-3k it resonates the cabin pretty bad but past that in 5-7k redline the sound is intoxicating. on highway cruising you can hear some drone but not terrible. |

I did the muffler delete a week ago. I like the way it sounds. Kept the original tips.

My 12 sounded awesome on the track when I removed the mufflers. I have some track clips on my You tube channel. 12blkgray RS

I personally don't think it would sound good; I have the MRT v1 and I already can't stand the drone; this'll be much more. But I realize not everyone will agree with me ;(.

Basically. You remove the muffler and replace with straight piping.
