carbon fiber insert -Ceramic coating OK ?

Do any of you guys know if it is safe to apply ceramic coating to the carbon fibre insert, same as you would to protect paint? Are there any manufacturer recommendations?
Picking up my Black ZL1 coupe Monday and want to get this done ASAP.
Thanks

Do a self-healing film first, then a hydrophobic coating. Have them pull the insert and remove the logos before putting on the film.

DO NOT LET DEALERSHIP TOUCH IT! Hell, let them leave the shipping plastics on there if they haven't touched it yet!!! Extremely important, IF you can! If they removed the stuff, don't let them detail it! Also, DO NOT apply ceramic coating NOR clear bra till it has been at least 90 days since the car has been painted! You need to let the gasses dissipate before "blocking the gasses in" It will ruin your paint and if you decide to take the clear bra off, clear bra will literally take off the paint of the car!

Short answer: Oh yes sir. You can apply ceramic coating on EVERYTHING. Calipers, glass, carbon fiber, side skirts even lug nuts haha.

One of the BEST videos out there are by AmmoNYC if you want more info. Here are 2 that I have bookmarked and used (You definitely do not need to use his specific products... You can use Adam's, Chemical guys etc... For stripping coatings, just use Dawn).

You can also find a lot more info on the detailing section:
