305/35/20?

Anybody with a 1LE try running the M/T’s street s/s 305/35/20? Just curious if they will fit without rubbing and how they do on the m6... or any other suggestions for a good grip tire for drag (yes, I drag my 1le)... also want to be able to keep my nitto g2’s on the front.. just want a good tire I can swap on/off the rim only for straight line, won’t be daily driving and will switch back to my rear g2’s for dd

You will need to relocate the wiring harness in the driver side rear fender well. Other then that they will work better at the track then any other tire that size.

I think I saw a guy running the 555r's on his 1le running high 11s on stock tune. Not sure if they were 305/30s or 305/35s though.

If I did the 555r I could use my regular 30 series. I keep seeing mixed reviews on those tho.. the m/t don’t have a 30 series, just the 35.. so I was just wondering if the 35 would even work without rubbing (“after relocating harness“)... I even looked at running the r888r on the rear but was told it wouldn’t be stable if I kept my g2’s on the front with them

I had the original 305/35/20 555r when I was bolt-on only and could pull 3.4 0-60's on the street but I am A8. They required relocating the harness.

I think a 305/30/30 555r2 would be a better choice for your car from a gearing standpoint with a M6 but the 305/35 will likely hook off the line the best.
