$390 is not all that unreasonable to the intake+booster fitting+work to add the fitting+work to remove the ribs+MAP extension harness.
A heat gun does the same and IMO better. I use a heat gun on faded Jeep plastic tire guards or any of those parts that fade and works great. Darkens then right up by bringing up the oil used in making the plastic.

That’s the way to go with the added cover. Just need a custom plate to cover the corvette and add Camaro.

You can put the fuel feed line behind the rear of the manifold. Did it with my E85 on past 2016, you just have to slowly turn and a slight twist on fuel line. They do bend but don’t put a kink in the line.

Yeah, I was looking there too. Red would be hard to get that cheap, but I can solve that with a spray can. I see there is one now with an open bid. But I still do not know when my C8 IM will arrive. So happy to buy it as a bolt on kit.

This is a great opportunity for someone to sell lt2 manifold covers with Camaro lettering instead of the stock corvette lettering. If someone is willing to to make them and does a oem finish and superb job on the intake manifold cover, I would likely buy one depending on the price of course.

Gonna try and hit up emblempros and see if they have any plans on making a direct fit overlay for it

Has anyone heard that the C7 guys are doing the same as we are doing with the LT2 intake manifold? I would think so.

Can anyone measure the length and height of the Corvette lettering?

We might be able to use something already on the market.

This one is
9.8inch x 0.86

I believe the LT1 intake was sized specifically to clear the C7 hood, so I doubt they are able to run it without interference issues.

That is a great idea. As for me I am Okay with Corvette on my motor. After all this motor was a Corvette engine as well.
