Is there a reason you went with the 1⅞ over the 2" long system?

I am also currently shopping headers. I liked the CSP because it seems they took care of all the clearance issues, but I recently spoke with them and still no catted version on the horizon. Kooks 1 7/8" headers seem to be like a solid choice, but like you I also want cats. I've been getting a lot of push back from a few different installers about running the Kooks hi-flo cats on my ZL1. If green cats are the way to go (which is what the consensus is alluding to), and I don't want to spend $2100 for Kooks headers with green cats, then what? Well, I have an idea that I plan to execute. I'll let you know how it works. I've been speaking to Dyno Steve from RDP about selling my just the Kooks 1 7/8" headers and a universal green cat separately. Green cats are on the Kooks and RDP site for $390. The way I see it, no matter what I buy, someone is going to have to fabricate a link between the header cats and my AWE Touring catback exhaust. So? What's the difference in fabricating one more piece to have the green cat attach to the header? Bottom line, I believe I can buy the Kooks headers and universal 3" green cats for under $1500, shipped.

I also have Magnuson 2650 103 snout and 80 mm pulley Brain Tooley stage two cam with Nick Williams 103 Tb Roto Fab Big Gulp

My exhaust is so dam loud It not even fun to drive the car .Oh did I mention its a convertible two putting down 895 rwhp . Even in stealth mode and my mild to wild its ear piercing

If I could do it over again I wouldn't have done long tube or I would have done cats and a different exhaust if I knew how to upload sound clip I would

Just my 2 cents

Broker, add a couple resonators inline and it will solve all your problems

This photo is b4 lt just so you can see the two braces I had to use 6 washers on each corner of the brace to to make Borla fit
This is a very common problem with Convertible

There have been several people that that realized the ATAK system was too loud, especially with no cats. The S-type should quiet it down a bit.

I think that's what I'm going to do call Borla and see if they can help with pricing in any way for just mufflers I have the same system on my Gt500 and it sounds amazing

There is no performance gains to be made with a new catback, and seeing people say how loud it is...maybe I'll settle with just new headers.

The ATAK wouldn't be so bad if it had ANY depth to it, but to stay away from any drone they are super super high pitched. My ears are not a fan.

Same here. That’s why I went with the S-Type on my SS.
