MGIZZLE

Time to pick your brain again, dash is in, mylink/hvac delete, I disabled VATS with my HPTuners, worked like a charm, fired right up. Even pulled battery over night again to make sure.

But.., I’m getting notifications of:

Service Steering, I guess because I removed clock spring for my quick release. How did you bypass that?

Service traction control, I have the button plugged in etc. Thoughts? What happened to you before switching to Z setup?

Do you have a web link or PN for them I went to COPO direct an didn’t really see anything that remotely looks like engine mounts for our cars.
But they had what looked like a nice rear seat delete.

They're solid mounts if you didn't know. They're also in a drivetrain kit. Best thing to do is call COPO and request if you can purchase them separately. I don't have a part number.

Just like any other solid mounts, the NVH will be rattling all your plastic.

I did not remove the clock spring from my set up its still in there, I need it for my data acquisition system so I can log steering angle.

Curious on you PTAS delete, what do I need to do to get rid of that, is HPtuner only way? All my TC stuff worked before I went to z/28 module. My guess is the module I put on is not getting all the right info fron my engine, not a ls7, the suspension potentiomtera the car has nor the CCM brake pad wear sensors (Dont have those) and its bailing on me. As daid dont really care all I need is abs.0

Yeah HPTuners or any other tuner software, enable/disable VATS.

My issue was I removed the clock spring, so I reinstalled it earlier and it fixed my service steering and TC stuff. Only message I get now is airbag which doesn’t bother me. All other systems good to go. Waiting on my windows, doors, and get to the shop for cage.

I ordered Anderson CF doors, and FiveStar poly windows. Leaving the doors bare, they should be ready by end of March and the windows next week.

I’m taking out that backseat framing soon, grind down those spot welds and pull it all. I also have another OEM battery tray I’m going to mod and fit a Braille battery.

What is the advantage of using the Z28 ABS controller?

Thanks

Did you weigh your doors by chance? If so was it loaded or stripped?

Tx man, cant wait to hear how much lighter the side windows are than the glass ones. I did not weigh my doors before taking panels off, but damn things are crazy heavy still. I didnt cut anything out either since I dont have side bars from cage.

Oh I won’t know the weight difference in side door windows, I won’t have any. Just empty bare carbon fiber doors.
