I just clocked 7k miles and like these good years and have hated some in the past and swore them off. I plan on going to 1le rims with those good years in the exact size that was designed for the camaro as well. I honestly feel these tires work very well. Lets see how many miles they last for. lol

My plan is to use up the rear for two sets of oem tires, then hopefully the fronts will be worn down enough to replace all 4 at once.

I'm not going to risk running a tire that cannot grip when it's 40 degrees or colder out. I will be running a winter setup as well, but an all season setup makes the most sense for the 3 other seasons.

The tread life is not as good as an all season tire as well. It makes sense. Softer rubber designed for maximum performance and traction in the right temperatures is just going to wear down faster. I want a tire that's going to last me 30,000-40,000 miles.

The cost, those rear run flats are $400 a tire. That's nuts. I like the idea of run flats, but the price is off putting. If I damage one of the my tires I'd much rather pay $250 to replace it than $400.

Now if anyone wants to by my runflat tires, I will have them for sale. I will ship, probably around $100 to ship them in the lower 48. They have 10 miles on them at most.
Spartan,

Asked a few others - but when you switched away from run flats, what did you do in case of a flat? Just have a pump and sealant kit?

I have not had to use it but when I switched from run flats, I just picked up a pump and sealant kit.

I personally know 10 guys with the new SS that took the runflats off within 3 months of having them. Run flats make your ride harsher.

Nothing yet, but the plan is to get a pump and sealant kit. As much as I don't want to go with slime, it's really the only option besides carrying a full spare or finding something like a donut. Which I might try to do. If I can find a wheel that's smaller that would work, it might be worth losing half the trunk space.

But yeah as of yet I don't have a backuo.
