I recommend either going with Kooks, American Racing, or Stainless Works. I have Kooks on my car. The price of the three vary, but they are all pretty close as far a quality in my opinion. I also recommend spending the couple extra hundred and having the headers sent to JetHot to have them coated. It increases the longevity of the header from rust and helps greatly reduce the heat coming off the headers.

All these headers are stainless steel, stainless steel doesn't rust. It will discolor from heat cycles, but that doesn't do anything for the longevity.

Why do you want to add headers?

Some stainless does rust, like that used by GM on stock exhaust, but the upgraded stainless used by the Upscale header companies mentioned will not.

Ceramic coating inside and out will help retain heat and reduce under hood temps. While I have not back to back dyno tested this on any of my cars, I have tested on my race bikes and there was a power increase as well as temp decrease.

Stainless Steel absolutely does rust. It just usually takes it longer than most metals. Coating them is worth it for longevity and reduced heat. I lived on the coast growing up and I have changed out more rusted stainless steel items at beach homes and on boats than I can count.

You get what you pay for, you see COPO using ARH along with most of the dealers. After you install enough of these headers on many platforms you'd understand why most dont go with the cheaper brands.

And yes, stainless does rust....
