Just remember though that there are two things that need to be done to the ZL1 bumper, prior to attaching it. Do some research, but the short version is that a reinforcement piece behind the bumper needs to be cut to fit the bumper, and the cowl lines of the bumper won't align with the SS hood, so you have to have them shaved in a little closer. Neither are challenging and within the capability of any shop, but you don't want to forget. Good luck!
Is that the same with the v6 hood?

Talk to your insurance and ask them for some of their "preferred" body shops. Then do a little research to make sure they are good. Once you know that they usually don't even send an adjuster. The body shop will give an estimate on the work and if the parts cost more you pay them the difference. You'd just have to talk with them.

they should do that anyway. u get a quote. they write you a check. sometimes they want you to use there preferred body shop. but u dont have too. just go to dealership. they will write something up and they will send an adjuster and usually he will come up with the same number(since the car is so new)

If you have a lienholder on the car I believe that the check will need to have the lienholder's name on it as well.

Any pics of your damage. Is just the bumper, or the fender, head lights, hood or what

The Zl1 bumper would be amazing to get out of it. I hope it all works out for you bro.

Be prepared to pay the difference though as stated a few times above. I believe the v6 fascia is worth roughly $450 and the Zl1 complete with lights, harness, absorbers, wheel liners.... is roughly $1200. so be prepared to pay $750 out of pocket for that upgrade.
