Not everyone who dislikes it is posting in this thread, but thankfully some are. I'm one of them, I think the refresh looks bad and I'm concerned they're taking the identity away from the Camaro by softening it up so that it looks like everything else out there.

They should have done the refresh in a way that the vast majority of people (especially Camaro owners) would look at it and immediately love it. When you hear people say that it may grow on you, that's a good bet that the design is a fail.

You cant be serious re that Lexus looking "cool"...
Somebody would need to pay me big bucks to be seen in one.

Some of this styling goes way back to old Chevy designs incl brake vents, etc. Hence to me it looks retro vs new.
But i agree it is a departure from the existing front end design. But not really anything "new" per se except for the oversizied fangs. Btw my Tahoe has them too, just much smaller in proportion to the rest of the grille.

Yeah, the sexy sleek Camaro looking like a damaged truck. I wonder what’s the reason and wtf they were thinking about.

Id argue there was nothing "sleek" about past 2 Camaro gens. And the refresh still uses the same body panels. So ya, different grille but still exactly the same silhouette as before the refresh. Now if you think it looks like a truck...hmmm....lol!

That huge bowtie and huge grille reminds me of Silverado (and other poorly designed fronts). That's not subtle at all.
I am still waiting for some real-life pictures of the other design mess, the 2019 RS.

In my defense, I'm really trying to like it at least a bit. Still struggling...

And waiting for a miracle. I want to look at Camaro like I did since 2010.

I understand. Firstly never buy any cars without seeing them live and in person first. Secondly i think 2019 RS is a real looker. But id still wait to see one live before committing to a purchase. Thirdly, there are tons of 2018 around (and will be for a long while yet) so instead of dispairing get an extra income, hunker down and save some $$ so you can actually buy one. I wish ya best of luck!

I wonder if that styling bit (white lower grill slots) is a 1LE distinguishing characteristic.

The black bar across the center looks satin to match the fascia extension and blade spoiler also.

I think it is as well. Kinda wish they went that route for the SS as from the side view it definitely gives it a more characteristic look that's on the better side of things.

I am wondering that too albeit 1le is usually just blacked out bits and bigger splitter. This has more going on incl body colored piece right below the grille proper...

Thanks for posting those !

You should make a regular post with them so people will see them, most people aren't going to look through hundreds (thousands ?) of negative posts and will never find them.

Just my 2 cents, I still like it

I think it looks better with the polished wheels, but that is always my thought
