Procharger?

Hey everyone I just need some input on my build. I have a 2017 Camaro RS 3.6 the build I have in mind is to procharge the 6 but I was also thinking about buying a salvaged 2016-2018 Camaro SS and swapping the motor, tranny, and whatever else was needed.
Which route do you guys think would be a smarter route and what issues would I run into.

Thanks,
D3V

My first question would be how much power do you want to ultimately make here?

I don’t have a set number of where I’d like to reach but I know I definitely want to be in the 500-600 range

To make that kind of power you'd be much better with the V8. To reach those numbers on the V6 you'd need to beef up the internals and whatnot.

Why not find a used zl1? That would put you in your desired range instantly.

I see a lot of work and pitfalls in your future.

1.) trade the V6 for an SS or ZL1
2.) sell the V6 and goonzquad the salvage SS
3.) be happy with what u have

Just my opinion. You chose the route u want to take.

3), followed by 1) are by far the most sensible options, but hell yeah, 2) is way more interesting and challenging.

Tell you what, I'd even seriously consider hiring the goonzquad boys for real and doing the build with them—they make good youtube money on it and you get a nice cheaply rebuilt salvage SS that you can then drive and enjoy the way it's meant to be driven.
