325/295 combo on 1Le

14 1LE lowered on BMR 1.4. Want to get 325/30r20 for rears and 295/30r20 for fronts. Will it work? Any pics? Rubbing issues?

Are you just street or do you track it?

This would work just fine as a street setup but will introduce more understeer on track. What tire model did you plan on using?

Hello,
I have a ZL1 with michelin Super Sports 295's up front and 315's in the rear. The car is lowered on BMR 1"lowering springs. I do not like the rear of the car lower than the front, so I made 1/2" spacers for the rear spring perch, so the car has a bit of a rake. I tried 1.4" BMR lowering springs up front but tires rubbed when turned. I think that 1/4" spacers in the rear would make the car level. Just so you know the front of my car is so low, as it sits now you cannot fit a soda can under the front splitter.

Wheel specs for ZL1 20" wheels;
Offsets:
Front 20x10 - +23mm
Rear 20x11 - +43mm
Bolt Pattern - 5x120

Ty. Awesome write up. I ended up just getting 295/35 & 315/35 pirellis, and a set of 325/40 DRs (18x11). Hopefully they’ll fit.

As far as the 295’s rubbing, was it more during fully locked turns, or more of making a left/ right turn on the street?

The BMR lowering springs were supposed to be 1.4", seemed more like 1.7" They rubbed when ever turning the wheel, I did not make it out of my driveway. So went back to the 1" lowering springs. I love how the car handles and rides as is, so I am done with my suspension.

Glad it helped!
