MICHELIN PS4S VS MICHELIN CUP 2S
i have been running the same set of michelin p4s since a few years ago and half 3 full track days, 1 half track day and a few auto x days on them and my car was mostly a street car with some track use. This year it will mostly be a track car with some street use so just wanted to ask if anybody has ran both of these on their camaro and do you think the cup 2s are worth the extra $$ or should i look elsewhere? tire size is 275/285/30/20 and 305/30/20

Goodyear Supercar 3 in 285 or 295/30/20 and 305/30/20.

I'd go with the Goodyear Supercar 3 also. Goodyear's competitor to the aging Cup 2.

Note that unlike the PS4s that you're used to keep in mind that the SC3, which I would also recommend, is quite deadly in the rain; hydroplane.

I was wearing out the R version after 1500 miles of street driving BTW.

it might be cheaper and better in the long run to buy a set of 19s and run the Kumho 295 25 19s sq if they are legal for your events that is.. they are 178.00 on ebay and come standard on the Viper ACR just have a dedicated set.
1000 to 1299 rims 800 for tires $1600.00 vs 350 x 4 $1400.0

We picked this car up in Florida and drove it all the way back home to DFW. Unfortunately it was raining and ANYTHING over 50 MPH and the car would HYDOPLANE.
On the other hand the non-R version of the tires was much better in wet but I still would not drove those in the rain either above 65-70. The stock R rated version reminded me alot of NITTO Drag Radials . They would also break loose around that 50 MPH mark. The MOST dangerous aspect is if you drive over some unanticipated water. Both those tires would hydroplane almost immediately. I have MICHELIN 4S tires on my SS now and those are just awesome in the rain. The TOYO RRR's are much better than GOODYEARS in the wet if you want a softer tire but they have ALOT of Road noise. MY son has those on his ZR1 now that he uses as a daily driver.
