Mounted: Apex 19" ARC-8 in Factory Offsets

I finally got a chance to bolt on my new track setup today and take some pictures. These wheels come in the factory SS 1LE offsets and I put Toyo R888R tires on it in 295/30/19 front and 305/30/19 rear sizes. At first I wasn't wild about the looks and bought them with a function-over-form mindset, but once mounted I think they look pretty good. I planned to try the setup at Barber MSP this weekend but I was on the standby list and a slot never opened up.

Oh well, on to the pictures!

Looks nice, should perform well too. I wish someone would make a 295/35 and 305/35. Would be perfect!

I think they look really good. Good choice on the tire too.

Thanks!

I am glad these are my track tires and not DD because these things are LOUD. They do stick well, though. On my favorite on ramp I usually can get the tail to kick out a bit for fun, but these tires stopped that cold. I can hardly wait to try them at the track.

Car looks amazing! Glad to see you're happy with your choice and can't wait to see it out on track tearing up the course.

Looks good on black, that side shot gives me an idea how it'll look on my car, which is black too. Mine will look a little meatier with 305 F and 325 R though...

Did the group buy for ARC-8s in 19x11 and 19x12 and should finally get them in... a month or so? The 19x12s are last to be built from what I hear so I'm being patient.

Thanks for posting!

I assume the wheels are lighter than stock. Can you feel the difference in ride quality or performance vs the stock wheels? They look way better than I thought.

I had those tires on my Z06 and they were loud until about half the tread wore off on the track and then they quieted down.

They really didn't feel like they were up to par with lateral grip but they really can put the power down. But after reviewing the data on Pi Toolbox, they do grip good in the corners. On the sweeper we had on Sunday's autocross, peak G was 1.30 but was able to hold a steady 1.2+ thru the corner. They still feel a little mushy, but they seem to work right now.
