I recall seeing there was a Member at HPTuners that tried to get a T87a to work but it wouldn't integrate or something. I think HHP actually manipulated a T87a (repin'ing, whatever) to get to work.

Is the price for one lower now? I thought they were initially looking for like $2K, and you had to use them for tuning purposes. Maybe that's finally changed. If it's $800 for the unit, and 4-credits to unlock (or whatever it might be), this might be the next mod... ha.

It seems Fran was buddies with the owner of HHP (I think I've seen the owner's name in GMHTP for many articles before, too). He didn't have any bad comments or anything about the "T93" he used from HHP/

Exactly...it doesn't really have anything to do with power level. If I had the choice, I am tuning the trans before I add power. People fail to realize how much torque management intervenes with the driveline on these newer cars.

A friend had his transmission tuned on his 21 ZLE. He's pushing like 800 and couldn't even enjoy the car because of the locked TCM. They're spreading fast in Houston.

What tuners are having success with this such as in street driveability and possible codes? Ive seen RPMs dyno runs and it seems like its good to go

My assumption is whatever tuning support there currently is for the T87a on 2017-2019 A10 cars will apply to those swapping out the T93 on 2020+ A10's. From what I gather HHP figured out how to get the T87a to communicate with the 2020+ system.

Any idea what the TR tables in a ZL1 look like? How much RWHP is being left on the table stock?
