Too bad. I was really hoping ND could win, though the actual outcome was about what I was expecting.:(

I think the only team with a chance of stopping Bama next year is Texas A&M with Johnny taking the snaps.

I can't wait for my boss to come in today. He'll be all day.
All season long he was mouthing off about the Irish this and the Irish that. I am a huge Michigan fan and have a Michigan flag still in the packaging pinned on my partition and he turned it upside down when Michigan lost in the Outback Bowl. |

This is why "college football" is not a sport. This stuff is rediculous. These obnoxious blowouts and mismatches are more common than not.
You wanna watch some REAL Football? Well, you only have a few more days. See Ravens-Broncos, Patriots-Texans.

I love college football so much more than pro, but to each their own. Pro football is boring to me...you can predict the outcome much easier, IMHO. The score is closer, but the outcome is predictable.
College football may not have as much parity, but it is less predictable on many levels...who really thought Louisville would beat Florida like they did? Not taking anything away from Louisville, but all the talking heads were asking if Florida should have been in the BCS game... Unfortunately for ND they were not as good as the hype. Great season, but not as good as their hype. They barely got by Pitt (should have lost), Michigan had something like 6 turnovers against them and ND barely won again. Alabama throttle Michigan and that was their only common opponent. The talking heads that picked ND must have been on something...Lou Holtz was a joke with his "I can't believe ND is the underdog" comments. It is tough being ND or Alabama with the hype and expectations their fans have. I am a life long Bama fan and a 10 win season isn't great, it is average...hard to live up to. However, 2 straight BCS titles...3 in 4 years...Roll Tide Roll!

Well, Lou cant help but be a ND fan. I expect him to pull for his old team, he pulled for Bama quite a few times in the last 5 years though because ND was flat.

Roll Tide Roll, ND was overrated to begin with. LOl, I thought the Tide was going to win by 21, damn, I was off. The only thing ND did right was put on their uniform. That was an old fashion physical butt whipping. ND was not physical and just got man-handled. Teo stock just dropped, he couldn't make tackles or get off blocks, he had a chance to make a statement. Big time players show up in big games. As a former player under Saban, let me say a Brian Kelly is a good offensive guy but Coach Saban is a defensive wizard, a perfectionist, disciplinarian and a motivator like no other and he always picks a good offensive coordinator. No team will beat Saban in a championship game but at least I want to see one that will be competitive.

Now, Te'o may not even go in the 1st round. He got a taste of the NFL last night.
