Greetings and salutations to to all the Camaro6 folks
I Love my new 2019 2SS w/ the manual transmission! Coming from a 5th gen 2015 1SS, which I absolutely loved and enjoyed, the new 2019 2SS is so much better in every way. I especially love the new front and rear refresh. I seriously don’t understand why many folk don’t like the refresh. I actually like the way the car looks better than the 2018’s and prior. I know there is so much hype surrounding the 10 speed auto but, personally, I believe the manual is the only way to go in these cars. Fun factor, 200% in the manual. Oh, did I mention this is my daily driver. I drive in heavy New Jersey traffic everyday. I still love it! With the NPP exhaust, this thing sounds like a beast. Other than a GM cold air intake and other small non warranty void mods, I believe this factory car is fine as is. I have no plan for tracking the car. I don’t think, he, he, ;-)
Anyway, with that said, I want to here from the community at large. What do you think. There seems to be a lack of positive content on YouTube about these cars, especially with the manual transmission. I’m not a YouTube and not planning on becoming one but, I’d like to encourage those who post. Please give the rest of use who like this car some good content. Thank you in advance..

When looking for a fun car last year, I crossed the S550 Mustang off my list pretty early on as I think they are fugly, too. The Challenger looks good to me, but it's so heavy and I already DD a Charger, so I wanted something a bit different to play in.

At the end of the day, looks are subjective, the car is still a performer and the A10 should be much better than the A8.

What he said pretty much sums it up. this forum, comments sections, and even some of the big name auto magazines called the front end ugly/questionable/leaves alot to be desired. It was basically almost universally disliked.

It was mainly the front end for me. I personally hate the way the new headlights look and especially the black car & flow tie placement it REALLY looks out of place. Other than the front everything else is amazing!

People like to bitch and complain on the internet. Just human nature when something new comes out. Mustang was quite the hate fest!

Just imagin the shitshow when Fiat finally updates the dodge boys cars!

Many people like the new Camaro, not like the old version was liked when it came out.....Corvette rear lights and Tupperware front were the big complaints.

Wow! I must be the only one who is so excited for this version of the Camaro.. I respect all the opinions stated and thanks for commenting. I hope over time, the refresh will grow on people. I love it now so ill be the first to give my thumbs up to GM. I would love to see more good content on this car and learn more from the car gurus in here. Till the i will patiently wait.

I get nothing but compliments. Had people pull up and tell me the stock NPP sounds amazing and that the car is beautiful.

The 2019 Camaro is still a good looking car, I don't like the front-end personally, but I don't hate it or think it's ugly. It just isn't my favorite design. With the 5th gen, I didn't like the side gills (even though that's a throwback design) or the fake mail slot. I still love seeing them and I enjoyed my 2011 thoroughly when I had it. You don't have to worship these cars to enjoy them.

On a related note to the East Coast crowd, there's no need (for us) to get so defensive and dismiss people with valid arguments or even personal views as "haters" or pull the "opinions are like a-holes" strawman.

I for one dislike the refreshed look, but this isn't "hate" at all---if anything, I'm saddened instead to see the onrush of these corporatified GM front fascias, and also sense some desperation in the rear bumper changes in the face of dwindling sales and strengthening competition. On the other hand, the rear view camera is a worthy enhancement that elegantly addresses a legitimate criticism of low profile cars, rear visibility. The new infotainment software also looks better, more polished, and I read somewhere that (at least on the trucks) the HUD can finally be rotated.

So my point is that the refresh, like most anything else, is not all black and white and I fail to see why we wouldn't be able to have a civilized discussion about the refresh, or anything else for that matter. This is Camaro6 and not kindergarten, after all.
