I am kind of new to modifying my car. My car is my daily driver (in the warm weather, put away for the winter).

The only thing I have done to my car is a CAI. Would a tune benefit my car at all? What would it do to my car? I assume make it more responsive? But does it add anything in the way of hp to the car?

Sorry OP I don't mean to hijack your thread.

ok, the only reason I thought was cause when I accelerate hard she does blow off some black smoke which I am told is it is running rich. I have owned her since new so I know how it was driven... Well I guess that is a problem on itself hehe... It is coming up on 20,000 km.

Why not get a PROCHARGER system? You'll gain around 150+ Hp over your stock on only +7 Psi. And you don't even need to touch the internals!!!

I had that issue.....but it was because my headers melted a plug wire.
You might be stock but still can have a bad plug or wire.

I changed one wire and the problem was gone.
