Replacement brake pads for SS
Anyone have a recommendation for replacement pads for my SS?
I'm just looking for good quality street driving pads. Not too worried about brake dust since the car is black and I have to wash it constantly anyway. Just don't want overkill pads that will eat up my rotors. Thanks. |

I wouldn't mind having a bit less dust, but makes me hesitant to change anything, because my rotors so far, look essentially brand new, with no grooves, etc or other wear&tear indications.
Enzia35, how do those in links stack up? |

from all accounts these are the best replacements for a DD. Don’t have them yet, I’m going to use up my stock pads first.

I put the PowerStop pads on after just a few thousand miles. Over twenty thousand miles later, no problems, almost no dust, and stops great.

I purchased the PowerStop Z26 pads and wound up replacing them for the Z23 pads after 500 miles. The Z26 pads squealed a little when taking out of the garage. Since the reason for replacing the stock pads was noise and dust I decided to replace them as well. Now I am probably more anal them most about the squealing so they may be fine for most people. The Z23 pads have never squealed and provide the same braking as the Z26 as far as I can tell but I don't race the car. They also don't give off brake dust.

I replaced all 4 rotors and pads with PowerStop Z26 pads and rotors. They were a great prices, they stop fantastic and no dust really. Plus the rotors looks better when they are slotted.
