Had my wheels powder coated, loving the new color! Now the weather just needs to get nice again so I can continue washing her, lol.

The HB I was thinking about just reduced their price another 2k for a total of almost 20% off! Still not cheap at 40k, but not bad and a lot of options for the money. It is a bit of a drive though and the garnet with black rally stripes a block away is still available and they reduced their price too. And now the info on the 20's is coming out and yeah an improvement, but the 18's still look better IMO. IDK though in getting an almost 2 year old model...

I thought I'd chime in here - I ended up buying a new 2017 HB 2SS convertible in June of 2018 that was offered over $10k below invoice. The car is in fantastic shape with 5,600 miles on it. I ended up trading in my old car for about $15k and put down another $16k financing roughly $15k. Looking at my current trade in value it says roughly $30k. So over the last 10 months I'm out $15k. A friend of mine bought a 2017 Black 2SS convertible with about 6k miles on it just before I got mine and he paid about $38k for it.

All I'm trying to say is make sure you are looking at holding on to this car for awhile because it doesn't seem the trade-in/used market on them is doing very well right now.

Yeah, my past 3 (maybe soon to be 4) cars I only kept 2-3 years. I've basically broke even on all of them. That's one of the reasons I'm considering the Challenger as they tend to hold their value better for some reason.

I didn't think this was possible. Can you please explain how you did this?

Just went in and looked at the car I was interested in and they paid off what I owed on the trade. I know I could have probably got more out of them if I sold it myself, but the good thing is about trading it in is it saves tax on the amount of the trade. A couple of places have offered what I owe on my current car, but a couple more places sound like they are willing to give me a couple grand more than its worth. It helps to have a loan with 0% interest so anything extra you pay each month goes toward the principal.
