Yea, that’s what I’m thinking. If not I think the only other option is longer rods and going to the crash bar behind it. I’ll probably just go to the bumper and try to reinforce it somehow.

The cutout is 23" from the outer edges and is 28" wide by 15" long. The front edge of the cutout is about 10" from the front of the splitter.

Thanks for taking all those measurements.
I just compared those measurements to mine. The one I have is smaller overall length and width. I think I need the one you have for the 1le and not the SS one. I have no idea why they'd even sell it to be honest, why would it ever be ok to cover the cooler? |

I wonder if the 1LE one is larger because of the 1le lip. Weird. The part number on mine is CW-603624

It's really weird how it's marketed. That design you have is what the picture showed on the website, and not what I received. APR says mine is for an SS with no lip and no trans cooler.
If the picture on RPI's site where I bought it showed the one I have, I wouldn't have bought it. |

Did you guys ever install the splitter rods? If so, what mounting points did you use? Thanks for any update in advance............

No, I haven't installed anything. Still waiting on RPI to make a decision on if they're going to exchange it for me for the correct part.

There also appears to be a sizable gap under the front raised portion of the lip. I'm planning on filling that with a piece of L shaped rubber trim. I should have it all together this weekend. |

Isn't there foam directly behind where you have the red lines drawn? Guess I need to take the radiator cover off and take a look.......

That splitter is purely cosmetic. I'm highly disappointed in APR honestly. I had higher hopes for that company. Putting the rods in the bumper will be fine if the splitter doesn't actually do anything useful.

It's cosmetic until your 120plus and the splitter rips out. Do it to correctly.
