Procharger tube 3,5" or 4"

I'm adding F1x procharger, I'll put 4 "tubes in everything. Any suggestions? Some say to go 3,5, others say 4". I'll be doing 1xxxHP. I accept opinions.

why would you do that. a 102mm tb is 4 inch. so that'll be worthless.

3.5 cold side piping is plenty for what you're wanting to do. I run 3.5 on mine and it's overkill

3.5 on a 6.2 is a restriction lol, heck thats why cai intakes are 4inch.

There are 5inch intakes for the lsa supercharger which adds about 30 to 40 more hp over a 4inch. So yeah the bigger the pipe the better especially for supercharger. Turbos are forcing air in so u can get away with a 4. But a 3.5 is foolishness lmao

4 all day, on my F1A the intake tube is my biggest restriction. If I pop the intake tube and filter off I gain just a hair shy of 100rwhp. I plan on doing a F1X swap once I get all my little issues worked out and a trans that can hold it. Good luck with your build.

you're talking about a pd blower where air is being drawn in vs a centrifugal/turbo that forces air past the tb. apples to oranges

I'm referring to cold side piping. inlet of turbo/supercharger bigger the better. hence why bellmouths work so well

Im pretty sure AGP uses 3.5" and im making over 1200whp with it. I dont think its a restriction at all. Velocity is what matters.

But is it 1001...or 1999 ?

Although guys have made over 2k on a stock 92mm TB... so do most really need 4" pipework ?

In practical terms...4" is bloody big to fit into the car....so no need

3.5" much easier, so it will make more sense.

And your blower outlet is probably only 3 or 3.5" anyway ?

The F1X procharger has a 3.5" output. 4" tube will not be a problem, I have fuse box realocate, delete A/C, delete wash, engine is clean.
