You're doomed on the track with a stick and stock tires but the mph is a very good indicator of power.

Massively inflated numbers OP. I'm sure the car runs like a MOFO and I wished I was cammed, but without heads/intake/huge bumpstick/UDs, no LS3 are going to make a real 522rwhp. Your 117mph proves it(unless in the worst DA and track ever). A 522rwhp Camaro would run at least 122+mph. Not beeing a dick at all, just saying the obvious.
Again congrats on your great setup. I'm jealous! Any spec on the cam? Waiting for video!

Kinda thought the same thing about the numbers but a few different calculations show that it's almost on point.
Figure a cam car is most always around 480 rwhp. oh well, is what it is.

Thank you, exactly what kind of spec I expected Should be right arounf 470-485rwhp! Its the #1 cam Id chose if I pull the trigger. I'd get the Cam motion grind though..

No problem!! This was the 1st pass of the day and this was after hour and a half of driving to the track.. 10 minute cool down before the run and I only went to 6300 in every gear. I know the car has a 120mph in it and next weekend I will actually push it little more!!

I run the exact same cam. I like it for my daily driving needs. I need some tires and some track time.

That an inflated number, Ive never seen a car gain 130+ WHP on a Cam+Headers, also Mustang Dyno's read lower then Dynojet. Im running a similar spec'd cam and hitting 471/445 on a Dyno Jet.
Ive also had a couple 117mph traps as well running 12.4-12.5's. But its not in the numbers, more about how it performs on the track your looking at a mid 11 second car if you hook up... time for some 305/45/18 MT ET Street 2's |

Yeah and Dynojets are usually a little higher, i highly doubt the cars going to hit 530+WHP on a dynojet with Stock Heads.
Re-Dyno on another local Dyno and see what it puts down. |
