Carbon Fiber Dash panel option - Page 4

IMO the carbon bits don't really suit the car. It's not an exotic, made with common steel, aluminum, plastic, glass, leather, vinyl, etc. IMO carbon interiors are best when it's functional and simply exposed (like seeing a carbon tub or seat).

Normally i agree, but on the zl1 1le with the carbon fiber hood insert and wing, it looks like it is meant to be there. Just wish there were a few more cf bits throughout the rest of the interior.

Honestly, if the insert on the hood wasn't cf I wouldn't have brought it into the interior. It flows better having a touch on both the exterior and interior.
I did the normal stuff: dash panel, shifter knob, and steering wheel which I still need to install.
That's all I would do even if more parts were available, IMO that's just enough without going overboard.

Mine came from the dealer with the cf piece on it already. I thought all zl1 came like that lol. Guess not.

Agree 100% , we need more CF options for the interior of the car.

A lot more CF options on the corvette. I bough the CF steering wheel and shift knob from wildhammer ... both look OEM and should have been options from the dealer

Yeah. Love the look of your shifter and steering wheel. Both are slick. If i didnt just drop a bunch of money on street tires, tint, sun shade, rock guards, and next week ppf/ceramic coating...i might considering making the same mods you did. Lol
