I'm trying to figure out what I want to do about a sub box. I'm seriously considering fiberglassing my own box to go on the left side like the JL audio box. That is redicliously priced. It's either that or buy one off of ebay. Sub thump does not offer one with only one sub. Nor will they reply to my emails asking to make one with only one hole.
Wow. That is not like him. Here is one I was going to get off of eBay. He has several options to chose from with or without a amp window piece for floor. And they are in Kentucky not far from you.

Sub of thump is going through some growing pains these days as their business has grown to a point where they need a new building. Last I heard, they were in the process of finding a new location. Steve's usually pretty good about emails. Give him another shout.

When i was trying to decide 1 or 2 subs...I asked him a few months ago about a single sub option with his box....at that time he said it wasnt a problem...i just bought the dual rear 12 from them....since it took about a week for him to ship,..i imagine he builds to order...so i do not see why he still owuldnt offer a single sub option....some times it takes days for him to respond...other times within an hour...like the OP mentioned...they are moving to a new building...i am sure he is just busy with that....

I was wrong. The MyLink radio does send out 4 channel audio but the rear speakers are bandwidth Limited. It does not show that in the diagram that I have but after installing new speakers and testing, I can confirm that.

Are you saying they are usable but the MyLink has limited the frequency on the rears? I ended up using the rears for the sub channel because I got better base than using the fronts. Makes me think they cut the highs in rears.

The rears do work but they are at a lower level than the front. The rears are also not receiving a bottom end signal like the front does.

Just wondering how things are coming along? What have you decided to do as to the rear signal being limited?

I am using the front signal for all speakers including the sub. I ordered a sub box from ground shaker. Hope it comes in soon.

I figured that would be the way to go. Awesome. Can't wait to see it finished!

I have an LT, curious if the wire colors are the same (minus any center dash or rear deck speakers). I understand we have to splice into 8 wires (4 speakers) in, then out.

It shows you on the 3rd picture. The power out from the radio is the same as the power out from the amped system

Your diagrams are interesting.
So the standard system in the 1SS is called "IO5 without NKC"
IO5 = 8" MyLink screen without navigation
NKC = Active Noise Cancellation
