FYI, if you want to see the microfiche yourself, it's all on RealOEM.com. That's the site for all BMW group part numbers.

Looking at this Supra, it appears the only Toyota-supplied parts are the wheel center caps. BMW is making everything else.

On a personal side, this car doesn't appeal to me whatsoever. No manual [I know I'm in a vast minority on that], really ugly styling, and I'm confident it'll be priced in the stratosphere, similar to what the upcoming Z4 will be, roughly mid-$60k's for the 6-cylinder. Ouch. A Supra missing the 3rd pedal, or an SS 1LE that'll wipe the floor with it plus $15k left over for a ton of track days isn't even a choice in my book.

This stinks exactly like when the BMW //M2 arrived. Too heavy, too little power, too expensive, too ugly.

In fitting form, it's full of fake vents.

They teased everyone with the FT1 concept which was beautiful (Saw it in person at Cars and Coffee a few years back) and then they shared the platform with the Z4 which forced the designers to smash down the dimensions to the Z4 platform which does not do the Supra design justice. It would have been more on point if it shared platforms with the 6 series. Also the interior looks bland and horrible, super disappointed with the final product and does no justice to the Supra legend.

Agreed. I could afford one, but it's not even close to my radar. If I'm looking for a decent performance Toy..BMW, it will be an M2.

An M2 would be nice one to have. I'd love to get my hands on a 1 Series M. I love the huge fender flares

Fake or plugged vents are pretty common actually. The Challenger R/T had plugged vents which could be made functional with the SRT8 vent ducting. The 5th Gen SS had the mail slot fake vent up until 2014.

Fake vents or not, it'll sell well.

You are talking about cars with 1 or 2 fake vents. This supra has 10.

I bet you it will not sell well.

edit: and not just because of the fake vents, but because of the price tag.

1M is sweet as well. Just like the improvements from there to the 2M. Likely won't own either, unless I suddenly get scared of the big HP GM cars

I'm thinking sales are going to be fairly low too. The market for sports cars costing 50 grand plus isn't huge, and there are a number of choices that'll offer better performance for the same money.
