Transmission Issues

Good day, I have come accross strange
issue recently with my 2018 camaro 2ss.
Tranny started to act strange when I floored
the gas pedal it went to 3500rpm and than
stalled for a second and would not proceed
to higher rpm. Upon trying the manual gear
change mode same thing happened.
Had the car on M2 and floor it, the car
stalled for a second and than automatically
change the gear to 5th as the display showed.
It seems that tranny is putting into safe mode?
Did quick scan and come up with P2818
Anyone had similar issue before?

A quick Internet search turned up a stuck or failed control valve in the transmission. The dealer should be able to fix it under the powertrain warranty.
