I drive in the rain all the time. The real issue is the roads are dirty and when it rains, the dirt turns to mud and that gets kicked up on the rear end. But it all washes off.

Rain, snow, everything. My '12 had seen a lot of snow and did perfectly fine. My new '16 saw its first snow actually today, although it didn't stick. I pretty much only drive in town though, live 5min from work and kids school.

Hubby has a '15 crew cab silverado. Although we switch occasionally (mostly so he can fill my gas tank with cheaper MO gas) he has a 30+min commute so any inclement weather he keeps his truck.
The truck is also the "family" vehicle, since its far more roomier for the 4 of us. The camaro is fine for me and the kids every day, or the rare date night. LOL

I was patient enough to save my money so I have a choice of three cars to drive... if there is a chance of rain, I take the Silverado or the Yukon...
my Fifty has only seen rain once...the forecast was clear, but on the way home we got like 10 seconds of downpour.... my wife thinks it was funny, but I had to immediately dry her off...car, not wife...she looks good wet...well they both do, but the wife won’t rust....lol

Drove it home from the dealer in rain. I'm in Houston so it's unavoidable if it's a DD. I will put all weather tires on it when the weather cools down. Not sure how the Eagle F1's hold up in wet weather, but just by the looks, the tread doesn't have enough grooves.

I drive in the rain all of the time here in GA. It was raining when I picked it up so I didn't have a choice...

In the south you pretty much have to drive in the rain because the skies can open up at any time! Just make sure that you can get the top up quick enough...

You bought it to drive right? Then drive it! It isn't like someone will pay you more because it hasn't been in the rain. Just put a good sealant/ceramic on it and call it a day.

I bought a '98 Grand Cherokee 4 years ago so I wouldn't have to worry about getting to work on snowy days, and also to have a vehicle to haul around stuff I couldn't fit in my other car at the time, a Sebring Convertible. Drove both in the rain. Got my Camaro vert in January and sold the Sebring. Camaro stays in the garage unless there is 5% or less chance of rain and the roads are dry. The paint on top is easy enough to clean, but why should I expose the bottom to the wet grime kicked up on wet roads if I don't have to? I plan on keeping this car a long time so why not keep it like new as long possible? It's not the water that's the problem, the road salt is what destroys underside car components. I'm sure there are still traces of it left on the roads long after winter is over.

Heck I even drive it in the winter. Took off the SS summer only and went to run flat snows in the 18” size. I was so impressed with the traction on wet roads I just left them on. Will put the summer only back on at selling time. The big plus is they are 1/2 the price.

I have. I wouldn’t take he car if it was raining all day. But I’m not afraid to get it wet either !
My Colorado gets the heavy use during the winter and rainy season in northern ca including trips to Tahoe in the snow.

Not daily driver, caught in down pour once this summer and had the Pucker experience.
The Goodyear F1's hydroplane easily, but if your running all seasons then you'll be fine.

Daily driver here. Never had any problems in the rain. Living in NY makes you used to driving in bad weather.

In two years never seen rain, if I run into a rain storm some day I will have to figure out how to turn the windshield wipers on.
