COTS

I plan on adding a ported intake to my setup and getting tuned again to see what I can gain from the CAI. I'm using a new tuner (well known) and wanted to see if we can expect issues with the car if I have COTS completely turned off.

What is the general consensus with our knowledged tuners on here?

In terms of AFR you won't have any issues related to COT if it is turned off. However, if you wish to retain AFM functionality you cannot turn COT off with the disable switch. You need to leave it enabled and change the min/max enrichment tables to 1.00. This will net the same effect without messing with AFM.

Excellent advice. Don't want to lose AFM. Thank you.
