Is it a joke? It seems exaggerated, doesn't it? an air filter that sells it in its own manufacturer to improve performance, use it to limit the vehicle?
I don’t know now but long time the CAI was not CARB approved and therefore not for California. Now there is a California version. One in our forum bought several CAI and tested them. The EU Camaros can’t cope with a CAI without a tune. The results were power loss and with some even top speed loss to only about 210km/h. Up to now there is not even one with just a CAI.

Wow that looks awesome. I am a bit jealous.
Is it on the right side a ski lift? That must be a very beautiful area.

Yes, it is. This is one of MANY sky resorts in Colorado. Obviously too early for skiiing.

GOOD MORNING.
INDICATES THAT I ALREADY INSTALLED EVERYTHING, DRLs, STRUCK BRACE, AND PERMORMANCE AIR INTAKE.
REGARDING THIS LAST INDICATE THAT YES I DID YOU 300KM AND VARIOUS START-UP TESTS 0-100KM / H, IN USA 0-60M / H, THE RESULT AFTER ABOUT 100KM WAS IMPROVED, INITIALLY, IT SEEMED THE CAR WITH A SLOWER START 0-100KM / H AT 5.6 ", TOO BUT AS I WAS BREAKING, I ARRIVED AT 4.2".
AS TO SPEED POINT, IN TWO OF OCCASIONS I REACHED 245KM /H Y 250KM /H, THING THAT DIDN'T MAKE A LOT OF EFFORT AS WITH THE OTHER FILTER, I CANNOT REACH MORE SPEED GIVEN THAT THE STRAIGHT LINE OF THE ROAD WAS ENDED TO REDUCE, ALL THIS WITH THE EXHAUST IN SILENT MODE, BECAUSE I DID NOT REMEMBER TO REMOVE IT.
FINALLY IT IS THAT I BELIEVE THAT THE ENGINE AND THE ECU ARE ADAPTING.
What I have also noticed is the rise of declines in the sound of the engine and I think THAT IN THE EXHAUST PIPE.

Hi Aki,
if I get you right you don’t feel any power loss or whatsoever. Are you planning to do a dyno? May I ask when and where did you buy the CAI?
By the way could you please write in small letter it is better readable instead of capital letters. Thank you.

Hi Jens.
First of all I apologize, because my English is very rusty. When it's a lot of text and I'm in a hurry I use the translator, but that translator is crap, I usually try hard and have no problem, Although I speak, understand and read quite english.
I use the online translator and I was in a hurry, so the text is in capital letters.

I indicate you; loss of power ?, I noticed it in the first 100km of the test,or so I think, as the engine went by it was better, more fluid, the tests were launched from 0 to 100km / h and that it reached 250km / h sometime.
In summary, more noise is very evident, top speed does not lose and I have to keep trying to observe the evolution.
If there was a loss of power, which I still don't know, it doesn't seem very obvious.
The dynamometer test would have to be done but I have to askin an appointment and I don't know when I will.

@Ric,
Did you purchased the OEM GM CAI? Did you have to give your VIN? I think the ECU is differently programmed between the US and EU. Who did your tune? You went to a GM steeler?
But than I don’t understand why it seems to work with Aki but not with the other guy?
Aki,
When you reached the 250km/h was it top speed or just the highway was too short. You should reach the 290km/h quite easily.
