Livernois Motorsports MyCalibrator Tuner 2016 Camaro SS

http://www.lsxtv.com/news/new-produc...016-camaro-ss/

Stumbled across this today and thought I'd share

Performance tuning offers many areas of improvement such as revised cooling fan settings, rev limiter, speed limiter, shift points and firmness (auto), removed skip shift (manual), and more horsepower and torque.
Good for maximum gains of over 40hp, and 35# of torque with 93 octane
Time was spent improving throttle response, part throttle shifting, and greatly improves your Camaro in day to day usage
With all of our MyCalibrator products includes free tune updates for all supported performance upgrades along with true customization of your tune

I did a search for it on their web page and couldn't find it for further information and especially pricing. Anyone found it?

Not cheap and I'd take the gains with a grain of salt.

You're certainly right about the "not cheap" comment. For $699 you can get the best custom chassis dyno tune in the country, probably. I'll wait for Diablo to release their canned tune. Thanks for the reply.

NP, the gains seem a little optimistic as well.

I had their tune in my G8 GXP and loved it. Definitely worth the money.

I looked at their website and noticed they have a tuner intake package. This company has a really good reputation so it has my interest. Is anyone out there running their tune or tune intake package. Pretty good gains that they are advertising.

My boss has the Livernois tuner on his 3.5EB F150 and it made a huge difference obviously because it's turbocharged. I've heard a lot of Mustang guys love their tuner on the 5.0. The other reason I will go with them if the lifetime retune they offer. So, I can get the tuner now, then a new one when I cam the car, LTs, etc.

Someone buy it, and dyno before and after!

To be honest, I have seen pretty accurate gains with their products on Ford and GM products (based on their claims). Of course, keep in mind, their claims are gains at the flywheel.

The 20-22rwhp gains at the wheel in their dyno graph seems realistic to me. Now if it were 40RWHP...I would be like, what?

I may look into this for our 2SS car.

This is something I might be interested in also for my '16. They have good products and their hp claims are realistic. I used to have all SLP parts on my 2010 SS which were OEM quality but I think they stretched their hp gains a bit. Don't know when SLP will release any parts for the gen6 since Roush Performance owns the company now. Be interesting to see their parts offered for the Camaro.

A friend had their tune on a new SHO and had nothing but problems. Probably a unique case...

Its 599 and 22 hp. An Msd intake is 1100.00 plus install and about 22 hp. So, Plug it in for half the price with no install. You still have to have a tune after the MSD intake if you want to take full advantage of it. Livernois is at the top of their class, I'd say its good and that you can put it back to stock if you need to, can't do that with shop tune that someone else does for you. I might just have to get one before I go to Holley Fest in September
