One of my friends gave me this scan tool MaxiDAS DS808 (He bought a new one). I was playing around with this an it seems to have many functions just have a couple questions about some of the stuff and warranty issues on it never really used anything like this before.

Active test- It will let you perform active test like turning fuel pump on, Controlling window motor, locking doors. This should not be a warranty issue since its not tuning correct?

Special functions- Reset ecu, Reset fuel trims, Change tire size, erase all ignition keys, fuel injector balance resetting window settings things alone those lines. Each function depends on the car. Are those warranty issues?

Some of the special features just seem like tuning to me. Anyone use this or anything like it.
