U-Haul trailer and tow it home?

Fly in and drive it home?

Only problem with flying is that the closet airport is 100 miles away, and I kinda don't want to break the car in on a long highway ride like that.
I drove a little farther than that when I got my 2017. The a10 was scarce at the time and I got about $4k off at a time when not too many dealers were discounting.

I'm thinking renting the U-Haul trailer is the way to go after putting pen to paper and looking at flying the misses and myself, getting a ride to the dealer (100 miles from the airport) and driving a brand new vehicle back. Of course trailing it back is fairly slow, but it'll be an adventure.

Why not? I broke mine in doing a few business related trips and was able to enjoy the miles while the company paid for it. Highway miles are a very enjoyable way to break in the car. You just need to modulate the speed, keep it below a certain speed limit, and not use cruise control.

I took the train mostly and Uber at the end 200+ miles to pick up my A10. the day was a blast and stopped in DC to have dinner with one of my peeps. You could also just rent a car.

Keep us posted.

^yes, rent a car and drive the Z home. It’ll be a fun trip. The anticipation of picking it up and the thrill of open road. Great way to stretch its legs a bit

If you drive it home, it'll technically be broken in by the time you get there. You'll want to change the oil ASAP or even on the way at the 500 mile mark.
