2019-2020 front fascia swap?

I am looking at buying a new 1ss 1le for a track car and there are some good deals on 2019's currently but I just can't live with the front fascia. Has anyone bought or been able to look up the new 2020 bumper and determine if it's a direct replacement or is there a bunch of other parts that need to be purchased?
Thanks

I agree with you that the 19’s are hideous. I’m ordering a 2020 as soon as the strike ends. You can always take it to a good body shop and have them fill in the open Chevy bow tie and paint the bumper body color. You’ll have to paint the 2020 front clip anyway if you buy it because it only comes in bare plastic unprimed or painted. So it is probably cheaper just to have a body shop make it right.

The 19 and 20 bumper cover are the same ..the middle part that has the flow tie ..can be separated and swapped with the 20..it's just held in with clips.

You don't have to swap out the entire bumper cover just the middle section that's black that has the flow tie .. it's a completely separate Peace. You can swap it with the 20 middle section. .I had my bumper cover off a few times now to confirm.

Oh ok that’s good. Then Id just have it filled and painted. But I’m still ordering a 2020 because there’s no 2019 in stock equipped how I want it, and I’ve done a nation wide search on cars.com

So if you get a 19 ..you only have to replace this part with a 20 ... which has no hole in it for the flow tie. would be an easy piece to get paint matched.

Thanks for the info guys. What about mounting the bowtie in the 2020 position on a 2019 bumper, any solution for this?

I blacked out my Chevy badge . I personally like the blacked out bar to set a nice contrast. Perhaps it'd look better with the Chevy badge above the bar like the 20s but meh. Dis b sick imo.

Yes, all parts that can pup into place. The ENTIRE 2019 front fascia/bump is the exact same as the 2020 front fascia/bumper.

The only thing that is different is the center fascia/bumper panel and the upper grille - both of these parts pop-out from the fascia/bumper for removal and pop-into place for assembly.

2019 SS Front fascia/bumper has a "flow-tie" integrated into the center panel and no Chevy emblem in the upper grille.

2020 SS front fascia/bumper has a blank (filled-in) center panel and a Chevy emblem in the upper grille.

If you wanted, you could take a 2019-2020 SS front fascia/bumper and mix-match to have no Chevy emblems up front or dual emblems (one being a flow-tie).

Thank you! Now I just need to find the part numbers for the bowtie, the bowtie mount, and the 2020 replacement center piece.

When I call my local dealership they told me they wont give out part numbers, how do you guys find the part numbers?

This is good to know. I was planning on blacking out the flowtie but this would be even better.

I like look of the front on the '19's aside from the giant chrome flowtie. I don't really like chrome...

What about the headlights? That's my least favorite thing about the refreshed GEN6. The 16-18 headlights look much better IMHO.
