Color has a lot to do with valuation on the ultra low mile examples IMO. If you're looking for a 300 mile car you won't need to wait long for a black one and will pay significantly less that just about any other flavor with similar miles. White, Red,AGM,SIM would be the ascending scale of price based on nothing more than color production totals. I had a chance to buy a white eight mile 14 in the wrapper two years ago for 42k, took a pass on that and paid up for a 15 SIM Non AC Wicker with 300 miles instead.

I’m sure you know what your looking for and have good reasons why. But a non driver low mileage car without the proper storage and engine pickling will bring a $$ engine repair. I’ve found many rare low mile collector cars that are “perfect” in need of a trashed engine block because of seized cylinders. I think most folks these days understand this but at the same token, far less folks do any of their own maintenance these days, including oil changes. Who really is going to take a brand new $75k car that they bought as a collector and not drive at all and put special dehydrator plugs in and oil up the cylinders every year. Hopefully they are at least changing oil, with no miles, every year. But that’s 10.5 qts and a filter. “It’ll last one more year”.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Good luck with the search.

Ron,too funny here is that very same car i took a pass on almost two years ago at 42k with eight miles on the clock. The guy couldn't give it away and got 41k trade in at Fairway Chev where he paid window for it four years earlier. Looks like second owner drove the piss out of it.

Got a guy in Houston who messaged me about a 900 mile Z. But its black, so keep that in your back pocket if black ever becomes an option.
