Yes, you are correct. The dealer did confirm the car was a raffle car and the winner did not want it. I guess I was hoping for something official that could stay with the car for historical purposes.
Much like many of us were hoping/expecting to get the HW gift pack along with the plaque with our names next to the actual VIN# of our cars.

Just bought a 2SS coupe automatic HW Special Edition to replaced my recently wrecked 2011 IOM 2SS. Anyone know how to determine which number car I have?

My 2018 2SS Hot Wheels 50th!

Picked this beauty up in July! 1326 miles on it when I bought it. The first owner kept it spotless. I’m looking forward to keeping this one until the grave. 🤘🏼

Awesome! All of my buddies’ sons between 4 and 11 love the Hot Wheels Camaro! lol. One of them has it as their desktop computer screensaver! lol
Hang on to yours! These cars are going to be rare down the road, and by that I mean even Camaros in general, the way it’s going!

Contact GM Heritage - gmhc@gm.com

Give them your VIN they will be able to give RPO code and build number.

Plaque and Box never received. Info to get your sequence number

I purchased mine brand new but never received that box and plaque… maybe because I was not the one that made the order? (I purchased very early in 2019), anyone know perhaps how to get a second one or retrieve original box?

Also I wanted to share that while investigating this above, I managed to get in contact with GM Heritage Team (gmhc@gm.com) and they responded me, my car is #680 out of 1861 total built (and one of 872 Auto V8 2SS Coupe), so this confirms the total table posted here above on very first post

Hope it helps you all as well.

I keep the hunt of the box with the plaque maybe from the person that placed the order..
