Where is the GM 6 digit confirmation number? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I've read others post here to make sure your dealer gives you a six digit confirmation number. I haven't seen elsewhere where you can find this number. Below is my GM Order Workbench (Quick Sale?). I circled where my dealer told me the confirmation number is.

Is this where you find the six digit confirmation number that will eventually be used for tracking purposes?? I want to make sure my order was officially entered. Thanks for your help.

should be, its a mix of numbers and letters correct?

(side question: what does the 'Priority' number mean??)

Mine is just six letters (no numbers). That's why I was questioning it. Don't know about the priority number...hoping it means I am first to be ordered at the dealer, even though I was 2nd on the list. (I ordered on Saturday the 11th and it was entered Monday morning, then later modified).

Maybe a dealer on this site can analyze this OrderWorkbench and tell us what everything means???

priority is the number you were put into the system to order, if you are priority 1, that should be the first car they recieve.

98.3% sure.

..i hope thats not true because my sheet said priority 10

i was #5 on the allotment list and the first to come in and actually order it

i'm gonna raise hell if their screwing me

If I am right, im sure you could call them and have them change the priority number.

Priority is what number you are in line. Your six digit order is what you circled. You got that spot on, you can call GM later down the line and they can track it for you. As for the additional options, They are standard to the 2SS, but the 2SS is a 1SS with the extra packages grouped. So in our system, when I go to order it, those options are pre clicked as they are standard. There is no additional cost. Hope all that helps

Shane, thanks for clearing that up for me. So, I ordered a 2SS/RS, Cyber Gray, Black Leather, with Hurst Short Throw Shifter. It looks to me like the order is correct on the sheet. Can you confirm?

Also, can the Priority number be changed manually by the dealer? I am #1 now...can the dealer change that is they want to make someone else #1?

exactly right. As far as priority level, they can change that up until the day it actually goes into production.
